Use Cases
To show exactly how the TITAN platform works in practice, we are focusing on two primary pilots. These use cases tackle the real-world difficulties of sharing sensitive data in sectors where privacy is not just a preference, but a legal requirement.
Secure Collaboration for Agrifood Data

Government agrifood data is often incredibly sensitive because it involves national strategy and proprietary farming details. At the moment, this information is usually kept in “silos.” Because the risk of a data leak is too high, government departments struggle to share information with one another, which unfortunately slows down innovation and makes it harder to create joined-up policies.
Led by SAR (Sociedad Aragonesa de Gestión Agroambiental SL) in Spain, this use case uses TITAN to create a safe space for collaboration. We are demonstrating how different government bodies can pool and analyse their datasets to gain new insights, while ensuring the raw, sensitive data is never actually exposed or put at risk.

Main Goal
Protecting Health and Public Records

Health data is quite rightly the most protected information in Europe. For medical research to move forward, scientists need to work with high-quality datasets, but the legal and technical hurdles of patient privacy often bring this work to a standstill.
We are working with the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) to build a secure bridge for this research. Using “Clean Rooms” (technically known as Trusted Execution Environments), TITAN allows researchers to process and analyse medical records without ever seeing the raw patient data. This keeps the project fully compliant with GDPR while allowing vital scientific progress to continue.
