Odysseus Data Services (Odysseus) is a Real-World Evidence (RWE) market leader enabling standardized analytics of healthcare data at scale. We are a team of passionate people whose goal is to improve healthcare and population health by developing materials, methods, and tools to perform accurate analyses of observational data in federated networks. Odysseus is an OHDSI thought leader and major contributor in key initiatives and working groups, including deployment and use of the OMOP oncology extension and the design and development of and software tools like ATLAS/WebAPI, ARACHNE, and ATHENA. We are specialized in applying OMOP and other Common Data Models (CDM) in large-scale federated analysis, with expertise in curation and maintenance of OMOP vocabularies as well as the development of OHDSI analytical methods (HADES) and network studies. Odysseus has a well-established customer base and is considered to be a trusted partner across Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, and Payer as well as Academic and Government organizations worldwide.
Trilateral Research (TRI) provides ethical AI solutions for tackling complex societal problemsand develops technology to help save lives. TRI emphasises an ethical and co-design, end-user focused approach to technology development. In the TITAN project, TRI leads Work Package 1, which focuses on preparing legal, privacy ethical, as well as technical and functional requirements for the architecture of the technology developed in the project. TRI will prepare and implement a data protection impact assessment (DPIA) and an ethical impact assessment (EIA) of the project.
Charité University Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Europe. It has four campuses distributed over the city of Berlin. The Interdisciplinary Sleep Medicine Centre is one of many departments in this institution and it is one of the few facilities in Germany where sleep disorders of all kinds are examined and treated from childhood to old age. The centre includes an outpatient clinic, an inpatient sleep laboratory for all sleep-related problems and all forms of sleep disorders, and an outpatient sleep laboratory within the Charité outpatient health centre for patients with sleep-related breathing disorders. The staff consists of pneumologists, neurologists, ENT physicians, cardiologists, engineers, specialized medical technologists, and nurses.

Veneto Region is the governmental body in charge of our area populated by about 5 Millions citizens and located in the North-East of italy. The ICT and Digital Agenda department is in charge of implementing the regional policies concerning data and the digital agenda; to manage ERDF funds addressed to public and private actors to promote the quantity and quality of data; to manage the open data regional platform where about 5000 datasets from several topics (scientific one too) are included) and public accessible.
The University of Koblenz is one of the youngest universities in Germany. Yet, the Computer Science faculty with more than 30 years of research and teaching is one of the first if the field. Various national and international collaborations in teaching and research for students are offering very good prospects. On top of that the, University of Koblenz has strong regional roots and provides important impulses for the entire science region Middle Rhine. With its research focus areas, the University of Koblenz is part of the Rhineland-Palatinate Research Initiative. The Software Engineering research group is concerned with model-based methods and tools for software development for critical systems: In the area of software quality, we work on the analysis of business process and software models for quality attributes such as IT security and compliance and static as well as runtime-based software verification. In the area of large-scale software project management, we work on the capture and analysis of non-functional requirements. On the topic of software maintainability, we investigate the preservation of requirements during software evolution. We apply our methods and tools to software-as-a-service (SaaS) and cloud-oriented software architectures, among others, where no “best practice” for secure development exists yet.
