On 9 and 10 September, the EU Agency for Large-Scale IT Systems (eu-LISA) held its latest Industry Roundtable in Strasbourg, focusing on the future of public sector data management.
Organised alongside the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU, the hybrid event brought together experts from across industry, academia, and government to look at how new technology can improve public IT systems while keeping data safe.
Spotlighting TEEs and Compliance by Design
Nicolae Paladi from TITAN partner CanaryBit joined the discussions to talk about compliance by design and automated security.
In his talk, Nicolae highlighted how hardware-based Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) allow sensitive data to be processed securely without putting privacy at risk. The presentation drew directly on the technical work and research being carried out within TITAN, showing how confidential computing can help organisations share high-value data safely while sticking strictly to EU privacy rules.
