The University of Murcia (UMU) brought science and innovation closer to the local community by taking part in European Researchers’ Night 2026, which took place in Murcia on Friday, 25 September. Held annually across Europe, the event offers the public a chance to meet researchers, explore interactive demonstrations, and discover how EU-funded science impacts daily life.

At the Murcia event, the UMU team hosted a dedicated stand featuring TITAN alongside other initiatives such as EMPYREAN, CASTOR, and AGENTIC6G.
Visitors stopped by the stand to learn about UMU’s ongoing research in cybersecurity and data protection. The team explained how the project is building a software platform for confidential collaboration, designed to make data processing far more secure while preserving user privacy.

Throughout the evening, researchers used practical examples to show how privacy-preserving technology can solve real challenges, particularly when handling sensitive records in healthcare and public administration.
