New White Paper: Guidance for DPIA practices from EU-funded projects

In today’s data-driven world, personal data fuels innovation, especially in healthcare AI. But this comes with a big responsibility: protecting individual privacy.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) sets the standard for this in the EU, making accountability and risk management key. That’s where Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) come in. They’re a proactive way to spot and manage privacy risks early in any project, helping to build trust and prevent costly issues.

A new White Paper has just been released, developed within the #EASiNet Cluster, exploring just this and TITAN was pleased to contribute to this important work.

The paper offers practical and legal guidance on conducting DPIAs. You’ll find out why they’re required under Article 35 of the GDPR, get insights from 8 EU-funded projects, learn the steps for an effective DPIA, and discover best practices and recommendations.
